Sailed for Virginia 14 Februrary 1751 on the "Greenock Snow", arrived in Rappahannock River 29 June 1751.
It was asserted that Marion Andrew, the wife of Arthur Morson, was the sister of Major John Andre, the British officer who was executed as a spy in 1780 at Tappan, N. Y. No authority was quoted for this statement, and it has been impossible to subject it to a proper investigation. On the face of it the statement seems chimerical. John Andre was born in London 1751 of Genevese parents.
